Our Prems have done the double!
Last night they beat our fiercest rivals, Queens Park FC 1-0 to clinch the league title, adding to their cup victory 2 weeks ago.
A first half goal from leading goal scorer Sarah Carroll secured the points, but the girls were pushed all the way by a strong Queens Park team who were determined not to let us win the trophy at their home ground.
Our defence stayed strong though, and with young Matilda Morgan Aquino in superb form we held them off for a famous win.
The club now boasts 3 league champions this season, with our U14's going undefeated to win their league. Our U16's also won their league and only lost 1 game in doing so.
We also have 3 cup trophies this season as well, with the Prems, U18's and U16's all winning at a wet and windy Rockingham on 1st Sept.
On Sunday we are going for even more silverware with our 3 juniors all taking part in top 4 Grand Finals.
A truly amazing season!!
